This is a loose collection of architecture and photography by Ryan Barriball. Ryan studied architecture at the University of Cambridge and the University of Plymouth. He has worked with Christ & Gantenbein in Basel and MVRDV in Rotterdam.
Ryan was part of a team nominated for the 2024 Piranesi Honourable Mention Award for their project If Columns Could Talk, undertaken at the AA Visiting School Ljubljana. Before studying architecture, he worked as a ground-worker, using machinery and hand tools to transform land.
Ryan pursues architecture as a cultural activity dedicated to enriching human life. He believes that architectural form plays an existential role in shaping how we see ourselves, the world, and our relationship to it.
